Prescription Verification Process
OHMYKITTY has implemented a prescription verification system in compliance with current regulations, applicable to US customers only.
The verification process can be completed in one of two ways:
- Attach a Copy of Your Prescription: Upload a copy of your valid prescription below.
- Provide Your Eye Doctor’s Contact Information: Enter your eye doctor’s name, email, or phone number in the message field below, allowing us to contact them directly to verify your prescription.
Please note that the verification process takes approximately 12 hours. If we do not receive a response from your eye doctor within this timeframe, your prescription will be assumed valid, and your order will proceed to processing and shipping.
Cosmetic contacts
Contact lenses are prescription medical devices. Even if you just want to purchase cosmetic contact lenses that change your eye color, you will still need an eye exam and a prescription from an eye doctor.
The same applies to costume or theatrical contact lenses. However, you may not need a vision test to get a prescription for this type of lens – ask your eye care provider about their policy.
